3 Robin Williams (1951-2014)
The always smiling, always cheerful and always funny Robin Williams gave us lots of happy moments but he himself may not have had such a carefree life it seemed. He used to be a shy little boy until he started to explore and exploit his sense of humor in high school. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, but the television sitcom Mork & Mindy made him a superstar. Still, he’s best known for his film appearances such as in Good Morning, Vietnam; Dead Poets’ Society; Good Will Hunting; The Bicentennial Man; and many-many comedies. Williams had alcohol and drug addiction problems, also suffered from depression and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He ended his own life by hanging himself.
