8 Whitney Houston (1963-2012)
A beautiful woman, a beautiful voice, a rising career… ending too soon. She started singing in the choir at the church, and her talent was obvious. She debuted in 1985 with her self-titled album, which immediately became the best-selling debut album by a woman. Well, anything she did basically became best-selling. She received tons of awards; her career was like a dream until… around the 2000’s her behavior changed. She became disorganized, distracted and unreliable, and because of this many of her performances got cancelled. In 2009 in the Oprah Show she admitted that doing drugs had been an everyday thing and she had been losing herself back then. Unfortunately her comeback wasn’t successful and in February 2012 she was found submerged in the bathtub. Her fame suffocated her.
