Andreja Pejic born Andrej Pejic is an extraordinary Australian model, whos famous for her ability to model both for woman’s and men’s clothing. Pejic was born in Tuzla in Bosnia Herzegovina, but after the Bosnian war they fled to Australia as political refugees. Andrej’s model carrier began in McDonald’s, where an agent spotted him making sandwiches. In 2011 at the Paris fashion shows in January, Pejic walked both the woman’s and men’s catwalk posing in clothes from famous designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs. Also in 2011 Pejic ranked 18th on the models.com Top 50 Male Models list and 98th in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Woman in the World. In April 2014 he underwent sexual reassingment surgery and became the first transsexual model in the Vogue magazine.
